Celebrity Cruises

As we continue to focus on the healthy and safe return to cruising for guests, crew and the communities we visit, we are working closely with our sister brands at Royal Caribbean Group and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as government authorities around the world toward our shared goal. In order to return in the best way possible, we continue to extend the suspension of certain Celebrity Cruises sailings. In brief, Celebrity Cruises will be suspending sailings through April 30, 2021 including the May 1, 2021 transatlantic cruise on Celebrity Apex. As well, May through October 2021 Europe and transatlantic cruises on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Constellation will also be suspended.

- The value of the FCC will be calculated based on amounts paid toward the cruise and will be processed by November 30th, 2020 via email.
- When redeeming Future Cruise Credit, only one FCC may be applied per person, per reservation.

Crystal Cruises
Crystal has voluntarily paused operations through May 2021 for our River fleet with cancellations into June for our Ocean ships, through August 1 for Crystal Esprit and through August for Crystal Endeavor.
Like our guests, the Crystal team is eagerly looking forward to the resumption of service for our fleet of Ocean, River, Yacht and upcoming Expedition ship later this year. With this in mind, and according to the latest scientific data and expert guidance, we have made the decision that guests must be fully inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccine (with both doses if recommended by the manufacturer) at least 14 days prior to boarding any Crystal ship and will be asked to provide proof of vaccination before embarkation. The new requirement is in addition to existing Crystal Clean+ 4.0 measures, including negative COVID-19 tests and health screening questionnaires.

In addition to the pause in operations, all of Queen Elizabeth's sailings due to depart between March 26, 2021 and December 13, 2021, in and around Australia, Japan and Alaska, will be cancelled. We will again be providing booked guests with the option to receive 125% FCC or 100% refund.
We have (temporarily) stopped selling all cruises eight days and longer which call upon a U.S. port and depart January 1 through November 1, 2021.

Additionally, as previously shared, based on the conditional sail order provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Disney Cruise Line must cancel sailings longer than 7 nights.

- Additional Compensation: All affected guests will also receive a 10% DISCOUNT coupon off a future cruise, valid for published sailings through and including December 31, 2022.
- Peace Of Mind Policy: Our Peace of Mind policy is now extended to include new and existing bookings made by February 28, 2021, on any voyage through and including October 31, 2021. Guests are free to cancel anytime up to 15 days in advance of embarkation.
- Final Payment Policy: We are extending our 60-Day Final Payment Policy to voyages with embarkations through April 30, 2021.
Canada Update: We are currently studying the Order and its implications and have not canceled our cruises that visit Canadian ports. We are currently exploring several initiatives that may allow such cruises to continue, especially for the important Alaska season. Given the fluidity of the current environment, we will also continue to work with the Canadian government to amend their current suspension. We are working through all available options as quickly as possible and as a result we have not canceled our 2021 cruises that visit Canadian ports. We will continue to keep all travel partners and guests updated as the situation progresses.

Princess Cruises
As we continue to review and understand the implications of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) "Framework for Conditional Sailing Order" for resumption of U.S. cruise operations, we have made the decision to extend our pause in cruise operations due to a temporary seven-day limit on itineraries that touch a U.S. port and the estimated preparation time needed for completing required activities prior to resuming our operations. As a result, we have cancelled the following cruises:
- All cruises sailing through May 14, 2021
- All cruises longer than seven days sailing in and out of United States ports through November 1, 2021
- A small number of other cruises that will no longer be commercially feasible
- Additionally, due to the uncertainty about when international travel restrictions might be lifted, Princess Cruises is extending its pause in operations for cruises departing in and out of Japan through June 25, 2021
Canada Update: We are disappointed to learn about Canada's decision to extend the interim order that prohibits cruise ships from sailing in its waters and calling on Canadian ports through February 2022 (one year from now). This extension, if not amended as pandemic conditions improve, would require us to cancel our Alaska (West Coast) and Canada / New England (East Coast) cruise vacation seasons this year. Given the unexpected length of the order, it will take us some time to assess whether there are any options to preserve a portion of the 2021 Alaska season.
We will be consulting authorities in both the US and Canada before we take any additional action. Our highest responsibility and top priorities include operational and environmental compliance, protecting the environment, and the health, safety and well-being of our guests, the communities we visit, and our crew and shoreside employees. The cruise industry has demonstrated its commitment to health and safety through the development of extensive protocols in consultation with a panel of world-class medical experts, which will be implemented when we resume service. In addition, we recognize our importance to the economic health of many Alaskan communities and will continue to pursue any option which might permit safe operation of any portion of the season.
Despite the potential impact to our Alaska sailings, we are committed to operating one of our two Denali lodges, the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge this summer to support land vacations in Alaska's magnificent interior. We will continue to maintain a focus on what we can do to support our fellow Alaska businesses, the thousands of people who rely on the tourism industry, and the regions in which we operate.
While this is beyond our control, we remain committed to operating any portion of our Alaska season and we are hopeful that positive progress relative to the pandemic accelerates to the point that the Canadian Transport Minister will rescind the interim order and allow cruise vacations to resume in 2021.

Royal Caribbean International

As we approach the expiration of the existing Cruise with Confidence window, the decision has been made to extend the eligible booking period through April 30, 2021 – providing 3 additional months of comfort and security when confirming a Royal Caribbean cruise vacation. This program has been quite popular with our guests, offering the flexibility to cancel up to 48-hours before sailing, should there be a last minute change of heart – while also guaranteeing the Best Price up to 48-hours prior!
One important update to highlight for this phase is the discontinuation of the Lift & Shift option. As of February 1st, 2021, Lift & Shift will expire and will no longer be available as a choice under the Cruise with Confidence program. Given the eligibility parameters of Lift & Shift, as well as the CWC sailing deadline of April 30, 2022, this option no longer fits into the Cruise with Confidence program as a viable alternative.
Royal Caribbean has temporarily ceased the sale of new bookings for cruises longer than 7 nights between Jan. 1 and Nov. 1, 2021 pending further clarification from the CDC.
As we continue to evaluate our return to service landscape, we are exploring a variety of scenarios at-hand to establish our best path forward. With this in mind, the decision has been made to cancel the 2021 Quantum of the Seas Alaska season, as well as the surrounding Transpacific sailings - encompassing departures between April 25 through October 14, 2021. Instead, during this time, Quantum of the Seas will remain in the South Pacific region.

Viking Cruises
As travel restrictions around the world continue to make international and cruise ship travel particularly complicated, we have made the decision to extend our suspension of scheduled departures through May 31, 2021. Affected departures include all river and ocean departures.
Additionally, the Canadian Government has issued a new order, prohibiting cruise vessels. We are hopeful that those measures will be lifted more quickly than expected. Therefore, beyond our suspension of operations through May 31, we are not cancelling future cruise itineraries that include a port of call in Canada.
And finally, as Viking Sun will soon be redeployed to China as part of our partnership with China Merchants Group, scheduled cruises for Viking Sun have been cancelled.
